Refund Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when you are entitled to a refund for purchases made on OpenDoseRx. Because this platform is a development prototype, all payments are processed in test mode and no real funds change hands; the rules below describe how refunds are intended to work.
Full Refund When a Provider Declines
Every prescription product requires review by an independent licensed provider after a medical intake. If the reviewing provider declines to issue a prescription for any reason, you receive a full refund of the product price and any shipping charges, automatically and without needing to contact support.
Pre-Shipment Cancellation
You may cancel an order at any time before it ships for a full refund. This includes orders still awaiting provider review and approved orders that have not yet been handed to the carrier. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, and the rules below apply.
No Returns on Dispensed Medication
For safety and regulatory reasons, prescription medication that has been dispensed and shipped cannot be returned, restocked, or resold, and is not eligible for a refund. This applies even if the package is unopened. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact support and we will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
Refund Timelines
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method on the following schedule:
- Provider-declined requests: initiated within 1 business day of the decision.
- Pre-shipment cancellations: initiated within 2 business days of your request.
- Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders: initiated within 3 business days of review.
After a refund is initiated, your bank or card issuer may take 5 to 10 business days to post the credit to your account.
How to Request a Refund
To cancel an order or request a refund, contact support@opendoserx.com with your order number. We may ask for additional details, such as photos of a damaged shipment, to process your request. This policy may be updated from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your order applies.
